Jin [靜]

Jin [靜], a Taiwanese female DJ, musician, and sound artist based in London, blends various textural and experimental analogue noise elements into her music. She plays synthesisers, modular, and a variety of microphones for field recording.

During her live performances, Jin seeks to create an abstract, meditative atmosphere for her audience by freely improvising with her set-up. Recently, she has devoted herself to the field of sonic art and is constructing her own instruments and DIY microphones in order to produce unique sounds.

In September 2022, Jin launched a series entitled "Jin Invites", in which she invited her musical friends to create a unique mix for this project. She would then listen to the mix and design a cover artwork for it, with the mix being released at the start of each month.
