Mostra TV

The festival's interviews, on video: each episode a conversation with someone who plays at Mostra or builds it.

Mostra TV, 'In their own words': ABSIS interviewed for the festival's video series, the two screens one above the other

Mostra TV is the festival’s audiovisual platform on YouTube, launched in 2026. Each episode is a conversation with one of the people who make the edition possible — artists on the bill, residents, collaborators and members of the team — about how they play, what they listen for, where their work comes from and what brings them to Barcelona. It is the visual counterpart to what MostRadio has been doing in sound since 2022.

In Their Own Words

The 2025-2026 season was titled “In Their Own Words” and followed a single rule: whoever speaks does so in the first person and in their own language. The interviews are published in Spanish, Catalan, or English depending on who is in front of the camera, with no dubbing or voice-over, and they last as long as they need to—between ten and twenty minutes.

The first season

In its first season, #Mostra26, the series featured numerous artists who were part of that edition of the festival. Alongside the artists, Mostra TV also gives space to the people who build the festival from within and those who accompany it. It is the side of the project that is rarely seen and which, when told by the people behind it, explains the festival better than any press release ever could.

SubRadio x Mostra

Mostra’s YouTube channel also hosts the SubRadio x Mostra collaboration, featuring video recordings of festival sessions, so that conversations and music coexist in the same place. All of the material is available free of charge and can be accessed through the Media section of this website.

Mostra TV was born from the same conviction that runs through the rest of the project: that a small festival can afford to spend twenty minutes listening to someone explain why they do what they do. This city’s scene has been told in thirty-second formats for years, and we felt there was room for a place where things could be said more slowly.
