Binomi

Jordi Aparicio and Joan Gila, both from Tarragona, are the duo behind Binomi. Both avid collectors of records, their search for sound brought them together in Barcelona more than a decade ago.

We will be able to enjoy their more reflective and experimental side at Mostra with an exclusive selection of psychedelic and avant-garde touches.

Their eagerness to discover and share their sounds led them to create HOC Radio and Geografia i Història (dublab.es) - two different ways of enjoying music podcasts and live radio. They select sets from local and international artists who most attract their attention on a weekly basis for the HOC platform. Meanwhile, they learn by building monthly music monographs through the online community radio station dublab.es.

Binomi represents two ways of doing, two ways of understanding. But on his own, Joan Gila has also started a project called Red Edge Label, a space dedicated to low pulsions and kaleidoscopic experiences.
