Biography
Darren White — dBridge — is one of electronic music’s most innovative DJs and live performers. Across a 30-year career, he has remained a shaping force behind the evolution of drum & bass, experimental bass music, and the wider 170 BPM aesthetic. As a founding member of Future Forces Inc., Renegade Hardware, Bad Company UK, and later the co-architect of the Autonomic movement, he helped create multiple eras of club music that continue to influence producers and DJs across the world.
His DJ sets are known for their precision, emotional depth, and narrative flow, weaving together futuristic textures, broken rhythms, and his signature sense of space.
He moves effortlessly between drum & bass, halftime, techno leaning hybrids, ambient passages, and unexpected left-turns, a style honed through years of headlining clubs such as Fabric, Berghain, and Exit Records residencies across the UK and Europe. His Rinse FM residency has further cemented his reputation as a curator whose taste continually pushes the culture forward.
In recent years, dBridge has expanded into live performance, under the guise of Black Electric. With Exit Records entering its third decade, and with projects like Radical Apathy and his soon to be released ambient album, dBridge continues to reinvent what a modern electronic performer can be: a selector, a storyteller, a world builder, and a lifelong architect of the underground.
