Mod.1

Mod.1 is a DJ and producer from Spain, influenced by the techno scene in his native Barcelona.

Mod.1 recalls following in his siblings’ footsteps into electronic music at the age of 12, where he began to experiment with his first vinyl mixes that would define the course of his career.

Mod.1 is noted for his wide-ranging musical tastes, but it is his forays into techno and deep techno which define his long vinyl sets.

In 2014, he entered the world of music production and hardware instruments. From here, he started to deliver live sets and put out his deeper techno productions through labels like NODE Recordings, Postdynamic, Chapter Records, Dusttrax, Dorian Recordings and BAHN Barcelona.

After years of work, training and dedication, Mod.1 is launching his own record label, Hypnotic Motion, next year 2023 with releases in vinyl and digital format.
