Alex, aka _ameeva, and Javi, born and bred in Girona and Barcelona respectively, will perform under the name of .apart for the first time. This live performance is dedicated exclusively to Mostra and its space, its value and philosophy.

With one foot in Barcelona and the other in Berlin, .apart is a project that came from a pause in life and the need to reshape. As a musical platform to host artists with an open and fearless mind towards musical expression, this naturally forged a partnership from the musical nourishment that both artists received. It directly influences their production together, and culminates in this live show.

With the concept still yet to be defined, the artists commented:

“We want it to be special and define the storytelling we want to tell for all Mostra listeners through our machines and field recordings. It is important for us that we take each live as a single window to communicate (music, staging, texts, setup, previous inspirations) and build a dedicated sonic place for that date. We will surely know this concept in November, since we will be together in Berlin and there will be time to talk, produce and dream”.
