From Dublin, Al has been collecting music since the late 90s and has been involved in record labels for about 20 years. After being raised on a healthy diet of Detroit House, Techno, and Electro, he cut his teeth as a DJ in Dublin before moving to London, where he lived for 12 years. Whilst there, he set up Vinyl-only labels Appian Sounds and Space Shepherd and continued to play and run various nights. Al likes to keep it simple, play records from across the spectrum of sounds and influences, especially smaller underground artists and labels that need to be heard. Often found playing warm-up sets, Al is at home building his sets slowly, weaving records and sharing his musical story.
